Diplomacy Update: a Necessary Update

The Diplomacy update in my opinion was a necessary update that needed to happen in order to insure the interest and longevity of the server. Of course you could unofficially participate in wars in game and still conduct sieges, but there’s always the issue of consent and realism. For instance, many wars in our world are non consensual and involve more aspects rather than physical fighting, like economic and diplomatic. Having an automatic system in place that allows for people to take different routes in war is something we don’t see in other political/faction minecraft servers and I believe that it’s a really nice thing to see. It really adds a sense of uniqueness to the server and serves as a reminder of just how different Atlas is from other servers. We have yet to see a war take place but I have no doubt that it will be properly executed and significantly more fun than what we have seen in the past.
